On Thursday, September 11 the Wenatchee City Council and Mayor Mike Poirier officially proclaimed the month of September to be the Numerica Performing Arts Center 25th Anniversary Month. The official proclamation was presented to Numerica Performing Arts Center President Terry Sloan and Vice President Lance Gonzalez.
The proclamation recognizes the Numerica Performing Arts Center for serving as a vital anchor for downtown Wenatchee, stimulating local economic activity for restaurants, retail, and hospitality industries, and its leadership, staff, volunteers, and donors for being driven by its mission to inspire, empower, and educate.
The Numerica Performing Arts Center first opened its doors in September 2000, and has since become a cherished cultural and educational institution for the communities it serves. Through a unique public-private partnership with the City of Wenatchee, the Numerica Performing Arts Center has enriched the lives of countless residents and visitors by providing a diverse array of world-class entertainment and local arts programming for 25 years.
The proclamation was signed by Mayor Mike Poirer.
“This is incredibly exciting and it’s wonderful to recognize our team, which includes the Board, staff, volunteers, donors, and partners, who all work so hard to make sure that we continue to achieve our high standards for delivering quality programming and education,” explained Numerica Performing Arts Center President Terry Sloan. “This month kicks off our 25th season and our calendar of events is excellent. We have a long history and were first conceptualized by a dedicated group of local visionaries, and our Board still holds that commitment today, so it’s an honor to be recognized in this way.”
The Numerica Performing Arts Center is a vibrant hub for arts and culture in the heart of downtown Wenatchee. This intimate 550-seat venue offers a diverse range of performances, from Broadway shows and national touring productions to local talent and community events. The Numerica PAC is committed to enriching the cultural landscape of the region through arts education, outreach programs, and partnerships with local organizations.
