January 2, 2020 – Wenatchee, WA: Six local contestants have been selected for the Numerica Performing Arts Center’s Dancing With The Wenatchee Stars sponsored by CliftonLarsonAllen and North Cascades Bank. The Wenatchee stars are La Pera Radio TV host and reporter RAFAEL AGUILAR, Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director SHILOH BURGESS, Follies Star and Local Pharmacist DAVE SUTHERLAND, Dilly Delli and Sweetwood BBQ owner KELSEY DEW, Award- Winning Filmmaker and Photographer OLY MINGO, and Music Theatre of Wenatchee Board Member and Hot August Nights alum VICKI MICHAEL. These contestants will compete live on the Numerica PAC stage on January 17 at 7:30pm.
Similar to the popular TV show, each contestant will each be paired with a professional from the Utah Ballroom Dance Company to learn a ballroom dance routine in one week. On January 17, they will compete on the Numerica PAC stage before a live audience and panel of local judges: Wenatchee High School’s BRIAN HIGGINS, The Community Foundation of NCW’s BETH STIPE and possibly Eastmont High School’s LANCE NOELL, – after which the audience will vote for the winner of the Mirror Ball Trophy. The evening will also showcase scintillating dance numbers from the Utah Ballroom Dance Company professionals themselves. This event is supported by KOHO 101 and Julie Davis.

Tickets to Dancing with the Wenatchee Stars are $29-$33 with discounts for seniors ($27-$31) and youth ($23-$27) and increased prices on showday and $5 Student Rush.
