December 5, 2019 – Wenatchee, WA: The Numerica Performing Arts Center presents the third annual COLD WINTER NIGHTS COMEDY SERIES presented by Atlas Fare – three months of comedy starting January 2020. Each month will feature a stand-up comedy show on the Numerica PAC stage turned into an intimate, energetic “black box” experience. Tickets are on sale now at the Numerica PAC.
JANUARY
The stand-up comedy headliner on January 18 at 7:30pm will be award-winning stand-up comedian, actor and TV writer, Graham Kay.
Described as “Quick, clever, deliciously sarcastic and brilliantly funny” by The Huffington Post Comedy, Graham has recently performed stand up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and on NBC’s Bring The Funny. He has also won the coveted Just for Laughs 2013 Homegrown Comic Competition, and has appeared on HLN’s On Call With Dr. Drew, Fusion’s Video On Trial, and the 2018 hit summer movie Super Troopers 2. In addition, Graham’s comedy can currently be heard regularly on SiriusXM Radio and seen on The Comedy Network.
FEBRUARY
The stand-up comedy headliner on February 15 at 7:30pm is Amy Miller.
Amy has quickly risen to the top of the Pacific Northwest comedy scene, winning Portland’s Funniest in Helium’s 2015 contest, as well as being voted Portland’s Funniest Comedian for 2013 and 2015. She was the first woman to win each position and the only one to win all three.
Along with being voted as one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” comics for 2018, Amy was a breakout favorite in Season 9 of Last Comic Standing. Amy is a nationally touring festival and comedy club headliner who has “found a wildly creative way to find empowerment while simultaneously sparking laughter” (Laugh Button). She has performed in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SxSW, the High Plains Comedy Fest, Laughing Skull, Big Sky, San Francisco Sketchfest, the Bumbershoot Festival and more. Her material is personal, political and 100% authentic.
MARCH
The stand-up comedy headliner on March 14 at 7:00pm and 9:00pm is Todd Barry.
Todd Barry has released three one-hour stand-up specials including his latest one for Netflix, Spicy Honey.
He’s appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Show with David Letterman, Conan and Late Night With Seth Meyers and his acting credits include The Wrestler, Road Trip, Flight of the Concords, Chappelle’s Show, Spin City, Sex and the City. You may have heard his voice on the animated series Bob’s Burgers, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Todd is also the author of the critically-acclaimed 2017 travel memoir Thank You For Coming To Hattiesburg.
