This year’s Apple Awards is led by the Numerica PAC’s program manager, Alex Haley. “A theatre awards program is something a lot of people have wanted to do over the years, so we’re very excited to be able to finally get it off the ground,” says Haley. “It’s something we’ve never done before which has presented a unique challenge, but we’re eager to learn, adapt, and grow the Apple Awards for years to come.”
The mission of the Apple Awards is to recognize unique talents within our communities, promote the arts to a broader audience, increase the depth of appreciation to existing audiences, and encourage the continued development of exceptional performers.
The Numerica PAC has also partnered with Numerica Credit Union to develop the Numerica Theatre Scholarship, a $1000 scholarship for a high school senior who has been positively impacted by their involvement in theatre arts. The deadline for applications is May 15, and the recipient will be recognized at the Apple Awards. To apply, visit www.numericapac.org/numerica-theatre-scholarship/.
Tickets for the Apple Awards are $10 for adults and $7 for students at 509-663-ARTS, www.numericapac.org, or the Numerica PAC Box Office at the Stanley Civic Center.
The Numerica Performing Arts Center at the Stanley Civic Center is a non-profit organization and naming partner with Numerica Credit Union.
