The Numerica Performing Arts Center presents two show-stopping performances this March: CIRQUE ÉLOIZE: SALOON on March 14 at 7:30pm and the first Black Box Concert featuring PICKWICK on March 30 at 7:30pm.
Cirque Éloize: Saloon
Over the past 25 years, Cirque Éloize has travelled the planet with its 15 shows and hundreds of special events. In Cirque Éloize’s Saloon, the infectious energy of folk music and strains of fiddle set the tone for an acrobatic comedy that sweeps spectators away in a mad flurry. The Saloon doors swing open to reveal a motley cast of individuals, each with a tale to tell. Under the spell of Saloon’s beautiful Belle, the lover sets off a chase worthy of the greatest Westerns. Unfolds a series of unusual events mixing acrobatic prowess and inventive choreography. The lovebirds on the run wreak havoc wherever they go, from the deserted plains to the depths of the mine, until the final acrobatic duel.
Tickets to Saloon on March 14 are $27-$31 with student and senior discounts. This show is sponsored by Dave & Sandy Gellatly; Sue & Rick Rose; Colleen Frei & Arius Elvikis; In memory of Karen Pugh; America Family Insurance – Jake Davison, Agent; Justin, Jessica, Natalie & Liam Clay; Mike & Tammy Kintner; Mike & Shiela Salmon; Gil & Kay Sparks, and media sponsors KW3 103.9, 99.5 The Bridge, 97.7 KYSN Country, and The Quake 102.1.
Pickwick
On March 30, the Numerica PAC stage will be transformed into a unique black box theatre experience with Pickwick. This Black Box Concert features both the band and audience on the stage for a personal, engaging performance by one of Seattle’s hottest bands. Pickwick has travelled around the US entertaining crowds with their “hypnotically intricate, undulating bed of propulsive rhythm”, and performed at the Sasquatch Music Festival numerous times. Their music has been described by critics as a “glossy, groovy future-funk that rumbles and snaps in all the right ways.” Opening for Pickwick is Seattle soul singer, teacher, and actress Adra Boo.
Tickets to Pickwick are standing room general admission for $25. VIP Tables for four are $150. This event is sponsored by WORX with support by North 40 Productions.
