Tickets are on sale now to the Numerica Performing Arts Center’s 2018 Hot August Nights production of THE FULL MONTY. Producers Don Fox and Jaime Donegan will lead a local cast in 12 performances of the Broadway musical sponsored by Tom K. Michael, DDS, PS. The show will run for three weeks: August 2-4, 8-11, 15-18 with Wednesday and Thursday performances at 7:00pm, Friday and Saturday performances at 8:00pm, and a matinee on August 11 at 2:00pm.

The Full Monty follows a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo (played by Mark Wavra, Ernest Palmer, Brian Higgins, Matthew Pippin, David James, and John Mausser). After spying on their wives at a “Girls’ Night Out,” the group sees how much the ladies enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work, and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they’re stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to “let go”. Parental guidance recommended.

Hot August Nights is known for its unique seating – and audiences can expect the same intimate seating for The Full Monty. Set entirely on the Numerica PAC stage in proscenium-style seating, ticket prices are $27-$45 with a VIP booths option for 4 people at $200.

“Giving back to a community benefits all who live there,” says presenting sponsor Tom Michael. “We are proud to be giving back to the Wenatchee Valley by sponsoring this year’s Hot August Nights production of The Full Monty.
