The Numerica Performing Arts Center presents bloody musical comedy, ballet in the jungle, and live dinosaurs throughout the month of October with EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL on October 4, MOWGLI: THE JUNGLE BOOK BALLET on October 11, and ERTH’S DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE on October 27. Tickets are on sale now.

Evil Dead The Musical

On October 4 at 7:30pm, experience one of the craziest theatrical experiences of all time at Evil Dead: The Musical, sponsored by Colleen Frei & Arius Elvikis, Wild Birds Unlimited of Wenatchee, and Julie & Vern Smith. The musical comedy sensation takes all the elements of the cult classic horror films, “Evil Dead,” “Evil Dead 2” and “Army of Darkness,” then combines them for a show that The New York Times calls “the next Rocky Horror Picture Show”.

Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes… and all set to a galvanic score of rock ‘n’ roll, pastiche tunes, and get down in the aisles and boogey music. Rated PG-13 for strong language, a hilarious amount of fake blood, and over-the-top guts and gore.

Audiences don’t need to be a fan of the “Evil Dead” franchise to love this show; They don’t need to be a fan of horror to love this show; They don’t even need to be a fan of musicals to love this show. As long as the audience is seeking a fun night out…. this is the show for them. This performance is supported by Zach Missal and Numerica Credit Union. Splatter Zone seating is sold out.
