Matt Cadman, Executive Director of the Numerica Performing Arts Center, has announced the hiring of Sherry Dawley as the Numerica PAC’s new Director of Development. Dawley began her new role on September 11, 2017.
Dawley comes to the Numerica PAC with 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector in Seattle, Washington with experience in marketing, communications, event planning, volunteer management, and fundraising. She has worked for companies like PacMed, Premera, Group Health, YWCA, and 501 Commons. Her experience boasts many accomplishments including working with her team to double the YWCA’s annual fund from $1.2 million to $2.5 million.
As the new Director of Development, Dawley will be responsible for all fundraising and development activities. Working closely with the Executive Director, Matt Cadman, Dawley will plan, design, market, and implement the fund-raising infrastructure for the Numerica PAC.
“Our ‘precious little theatre is very fortunate to have Sherry join our team,” Cadman said. “With Sherry’s deep and vast resume, we will be able to build the Numerica PAC’s visibility, impact, and financial resources.”
Dawley is excited to extend her skill set into the world of performing arts in the Wenatchee Valley. “I am just delighted to join the fabric of Wenatchee which is rich in artistic appreciation and strong in its commitment to building community and philanthropy,” Dawley said.
The Director of Development position was created after an extensive feasibility study conducted last fall recommended the importance of establishing a role which focuses on donor relations and fundraising.
