At the Riverside playhouse house - Directed by Henry Hettick with music direction by Dan Jackson. This musical tells the true story of a magical christmas eve on the front lines in the trenches of World War I, when opposing British and German troops chose to stop fighting and join together to celebrate Christmas. The story of the spontaneous truce is told in one act, with Holiday standards of the era, sung in complicated harmony, interspersed with action and monologues from actual letters of the men who were there.
Tickets will be on sale to members only in late October, with sales to the public starting November 8. Performances are December 8-10 and 15-17 at 7:30, with 2pm matinees on December 10 and 17.
